Do copper products darken?
Yes, it is normal for copper to darken on contact with air or after washing, but this has no adverse effect on health.
How do I care for copper products at home?
If your copper products turn black, you can polish the outside of your copper utensil by rubbing it with specific products for copper such as a polishing paste. Either by the traditional method: by rubbing with salted tomato paste, or with lemon or even ash.
Washing in a dishwasher is not recommended.
